Veterinarian at District Veterinarians in Huskvarna
Ready for a job where no day is the same – and where your patients may have feathers, fur, or hooves?
With us, you will make a real difference – for parrots, cows, cats, camels, and everything in between. We work with all species of animals, and it is this variation that makes the job incredibly rewarding and fun.
We are the District Veterinarians – a community-supporting organization with our hearts in animal welfare and our feet firmly on the ground. With clinics across the country, 24/7 emergency services, and unique expertise in animal health, we contribute to a safer life for both animals and humans. Our veterinarians work on behalf of individuals, businesses, and authorities – always focusing on emergency care, disease control, and preventive measures.
The District Veterinarians are part of the Swedish Board of Agriculture – and we are looking for you who want to make a difference every day.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a veterinarian with us, you have the opportunity to work broadly and variably with all species of animals, but there is also room to develop within a specific species or area. We constantly strive for high quality in what we do, so we are eager to learn from each other and share our knowledge and experience. Everyone is equally important, and everyone contributes to making our workplace pleasant and forward-thinking. We have 24/7 emergency services year-round, which means that night and weekend work is part of the job. Sometimes you work alone, but you are never alone.
We continuously work on professional development, and we see your growth in your work as our best investment.
The District Veterinarians in Huskvarna are now looking for engaged veterinarians who want to help build a fantastic team. We hope you see us as an exciting workplace where you can develop and make a difference every day.
We are located in newly renovated premises with modern and well-equipped treatment rooms, digital X-ray, laboratory, surgical equipment, and dog and cat stalls. In the same building, we have a large, spacious warm garage.
The premises are well adapted for small animals and fieldwork with farm animals and horses.
The clinic is located in Huskvarna in a nature-friendly environment by the southern shore of Lake Vättern, close to the university and within commuting distance with good transport links to several other locations.
